Step 1: Step 1: Save your NC CareGivers ID number

Shortly after you submitted your registration form online, NC CareGivers will have emailed you your unique student ID number. This is your ticket to getting reimbursed for nurse aide training and testing, and to finding a participating employer offering a $500 bonus You’ll use it through every step to your new career in health care.

Step 2: Explore education sites and enroll in an education program

Now that you have your student ID number, you’re ready to enroll in a nurse aide education program near you. Explore our education sites to find a nurse aide education site near you. Search our map or table listing for a location by city or county. Use the contact info and links provided to enroll in the class that best suits your schedule.

Step 3: Find a job at an NCCG participating facility

Once you have successfully completed your nurse aide training, you may apply for flexible positions at participating skilled nursing facilities across the state. Search our map or table listing by city or county to choose where you want to work. Then use your student ID when you contact that employer using the phone number and email address provided. Be sure to use your student ID number to qualify for your $500 bonus after six months of employment – full time or part-time.
